Do you know what this sign means?

Here is another little Jack-ism. (Or, perhaps it is Jackanese. LOL)

A couple of weeks ago, he showed me how to say "I love you" in sign language. I'm sure you are familiar with the sign -- it is one hand with the pinkie, pointer finger, and thumb all up, with the middle two fingers folded down.

Jack has spent the time since then occasionally gracing us with the "I love you" sign. It always must be acknowledged and returned.

Then, a few days ago, Jack showed it to me and said, "Do you know what this means?" And, without giving me time to answer, he quickly shot out, "It means I love you!" He then continued. He did the same sign, but put it far above his head. "Do you know what this means?"

"What?" I asked suspicously.

"It means, 'I'm a rockstar!'" he said with a slight headbang.

That Jack -- it's never a dull moment with him around.

My BigBoy will hold that sign up to me and say, "This is I love you", fly it through the air in an arch and say,"This is a airplane" and then finally flip the sign over with his palm facing up and say, "This is Spiderman." Kids these days!
