Menu Plan Monday: June 18th Edition

I'm much later posting my menu plan this week. This cold has just gotten the better of me, I fear. I finally mostly have my voice back, but it was accompanied by a nasty cough. Augh!

You may notice a trend on my menu this week. I haven't been grocery shopping lately, and I'm mostly trying to clear out some of what we have in the house. I will be trying to do this over the next couple of weeks, I think. Not that it's not good to have stuff in the fridge/freezer/pantry to grab as needed, but sometimes it's also nice to just move things out. (I once had a friend from Chile who helped us move and she was amazed at all the food we just had sitting in our pantry and fridge/freezer. I have to admit, I felt particularly excessive at the moment when she pointed it out.)

Monday: Food from Out (didn't you hear -- it is officially "Do Nothing Day!" After almost two weeks of constant "doing," today is a day to do nothing)

Tuesday: Kids' Choice!

Wednesday: Cheddar Chicken & Rice Skillet

Thursday: Tuna Pasta Salad and Homemade Bread

Friday: Chicken Pot Pie (from Market Day)

Saturday: lunch ---> Cobb Salads; dinner ---> Food from Out

Sunday: lunch ---> French Toast; dinner ---> French Dip (from Market Day)

Oh...and the Honey Mustard Steak from last week was tasty! I'll post it for my Tasty Tuesday recipe tomorrow!
