Birds Creep Me Out

Please tell me I'm not the only one, okay? Birds just creep me out a little bit. Or, you know, more than a little bit.

I'm warming up to the idea of birds though, I will admit. But, still -- they are not my favorite thing. You know, in the same way having a crown put on my tooth is not a favorite thing.

So, for the enjoyment and amusement of those who know me personally who read my blog, I felt the need to share a link to my article on The Homeschool Classroom today, because who would have thought I would ever be suggesting people go out and buy a bird feeder...

I like them in decoration, and listening to them outside, but YES they totally creep me out as inside pets. Blech.

My dear sweet grandma always had birds and I tried really hard to like them. But, I'm with you.

If you've ever taken microbiology, you learn about all the nasty bacteria in bird droppings - I'm talking baaaad stuff. I only like birds from afar...

OK, I like birds, but not as pets. I do know someone that's really afraid of them, so I guess you're not too strange. :-) Oh, crows are not cool! They remind me of that old movie about the attack of the birds. Scary stuff!

I will have to say that some birds definitely creep me out. Some are okay from a distance, but even cute little birds are kind of creepy if you look at their eyes. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one!
