My name is Angie, and my blog, Many Little Blessings, is a collection of writings about our daily lives as a family of five. We are newer Catholic converts (April 2oo7, though we have attended a Catholic Church since the summer of 2006).
You'll also read on our blog as we... homeschool (check out our new homeschooling group blog -- it has a giveaway too!), raise kids full of spunk (and a couple with special needs), garden, cook and menu plan, strive to live a more simple life (although it is really a struggle), work on household management, try to live a little greener, enjoy time with family and friends, infuse some humor into life, muse on topics from potty training to mortality to scrapbooking to marriage, and always try to count our Many Little Blessings (If you're interested in subscribing to Many Little Blessings, you can do so through this link or use an email subscription in the left sidebar).

Hmm, an interesting fact... We just moved to Alaska and our evenings are spent either searching for bears or wondering if the bear is going to visit our driveway again. Our friendly neighborhood bear dumped over our trash can on Wednesday night... I've been meaning to blog about that!

An intersting fact about me is that I'm the master of recycling/upcycling and the Queen of leftovers. I like to buy plain shirts at the thrift store and use scraps of old t-shirts and material to redocorate them.

An interesting fact about me is that I was adopted as an infant. My older brother is my parents biological son, but adopted his daughter as an infant. So although my parents have 3 grandchildren (I have 2 sons), none of them are their biological grandkids.....not that it means a thing to them....but it is interesting, no?

Well I can't say too much about my blog since I haven't actually posted anything on it (I know, I'm bad, but I never seem to have time) so I guess I'll have to say something about me =) I'm a amateur photographer(as in I haven't ever attempted to sell my stuff yet) and an avid reader that also reviews books for a friend of mine on www.bittenbybooks.com a site for urban fantasy & paranormal reviews. I started my blog as a place to vent about stuff while I was pregnant with my younger daughter. It has morphed into a way for my hubby and I to keep touch with friends, meet new friends and generally be dorks and write about things we are interested in (recently hubby blogged about the 40th anniversary of Humane Vitae, for instance)

Interesting fact: HS mama of 5 who regularly stays up until 2 or 3am just enjoying the silence:). I have always been a city girl and we just moved to a home that has a bit of property. I heard there are coyotes here and occasionally flip on the outdoor lights hoping to see one. It's been 3 months...Nothing yet!

An interesting fact - two weeks ago tomorrow, I announced on my blog that we are unexpectedly expecting our third through adoption. This will be the first time we will have a newborn!

Interesting is so much in the eye of the beholder! I will say that a perhaps somewhat unusual fact about me is that I used to roller skate competitively. You know, like you see ice skaters do at the Olympics and on special programs and so forth? We were certain it too would one day become an Olympic event.
