$25 Amazon.com Gift Certificate Giveaway (Bloggy Giveaway Carnival)

Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival Button

I can hardly believe that it's already time for the Bloggy Giveaway Carnival again! Wow! I guess the last three months have flown by!

If this is your first time stopping by Many Little Blessings, then let me say WELCOME! I hope that you will consider stopping by again sometime, or even subscribing.

My name is Angie, and I'm a homeschooling mom to three kids. My blog primarily focuses on our daily life, our family, faith, and various household management ideas (from tips and tricks to recipes). You'll also sometimes read about cool products that I like, as well as the occassional learning tip (although I also blog about homeschooling on our group blog, The Homeschool Classroom, as well as the homeschooling and food channels of Blissfully Domestic). I also publish free Mommy Calling Card templates for download from time to time (see the link above).

Okay...so on to this giveaway. I will be randomly choosing a winner for a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate. Because, you know -- who can't use $25 to Amazon.com, right?

Here's what you need to do:

Post a comment to this post by Saturday, November 1st at 11:59 pm EST.

Your comment must include something interesting about yourself or your blog. Trust me -- this something interesting is pretty liberal. Honestly, just tell me something. Others will see your comment, and maybe something you say will make them want to visit your blog! (If your comment only says something like, "I'd love to win" or "Pick me," then you did not read the directions, and you can't win. Sorry!)

Leave me a way to reach you, if you should be the winner. Either email or make sure your comment is linked to your profile/blog. If I can't reach you, you can't win.

For an extra entry, leave me a suggestion of what to call my Etsy store (yes, I am going to re-open the shop). I have some ideas, but am not really sure. It is currently called Autumn Daisy Studio, but I'm changing the focus (somewhat) and want a new name. I will be carrying handcrafted Rosaries and Photographs (religious subjects only). I have a few ideas jotted down, but would love some ideas. Maybe if someone suggests something I already have written down, then it's a sign!

Okay...get to posting those comments! Can't wait to learn more about all of you!

Great contest!

I am a brand-new fashion and beauty blogger. I'm a size 10/12 woman on a budget. I buy lots of shoes and sometimes clothes on Amazon, so I would love the prize!

Thanks for the entry!

Sometimes I wonder if I ever write anything interesting. I think the most interesting thing lately has been that I created my own meme...a weekend top five to share my weekend without having to make my readers read a big long wordy post. I even have a button if you're interested.

Hi there. We homeschool too. Actually we 'unschool'. It's been a great approach for our family.

It's not just hippies who unschool - some Christian homeschoolers are doing it too...

Hi Angie, great blog, this is my first time visiting! Thank you so much for this fab contest, it's very generous of you. You run a blog AND you're a mom who homeschools? WOW, you have my deepest respect :)

My blog is called Scarlet's Letter, and it's for women. It's about female sexuality. No it is not porn or a seedy website. It's about womens sexual health and loving yourself. Moms need to love and appreciate their bodies and sexuality too! My blog features items for women, including reviews of products and adult items. I hope you'll stop by for a visit!

This is my first visit (as I sit here eating an apple and wishing it were chocolate after all the giveaways about chocolate!)

About me or my blog, then: I am guest blogging at Happy 2 Be @ Home this week on the subject of "a week in my kitchen." At the end of this week I'm pretty sure everyone will know more than even I want to know about my kitchen. Including the bad habit of not washing dishes as often as I ought... :)

Wow, am I really first? Hmmm... something interesting about me...well I guess the focus of my blog is interesting. My family's journey to become as self-sufficient as possible on our "urban homestead." We are trying to grow our own food, make many of our own products, educate our kids on our own, etc. You have a great blog, btw!

something interesting about myself? that is a hard one. I have a few blogs but really no real interesting to add except maybe I'm a little obsessed with getting things right, if I make a mistake on a post, even if it's just a letter, I would immediately go fix it

name for your etsy shop - how about "garden of delights"?

Also, a name for your store...hmm. I would go with something that has to do with memories and creation. Or maybe even a bird's nest--creating that is an intricate process and they have a true work of art to show for it.

Hi, and thanks for hosting this giveaway! I'm a regular reader of YOUR blog :)

I actually maintain a couple of blogs, one for just "regular stuff" and one for my recipes and meal plans. I've been inspired by the gorgeous pictures I've seen at some people's cooking blogs to start photographing the "finished product" to put along with the recipe. And I believe that it's no fair to have a "secret recipe"--all recipes should be shared (and proper credit given to the originator, where possible). It's just good hospitality! I feel there's no greater compliment than to ask for someone's recipe for a food they have made and shared.

My suggestion for your etsy store name is "Artful Blessings."

Jen said...

Something interesting....I don't know! I don't consider myself very interesting :-) I guess I'd say that I'm really trying to get back into the blogging groove and write consistently. I want to be part of the blog world and not feel like I'm talking to myself!! I too also hope to open an etsy shop soon. I need to get working on it though!

Tiffany said...

Thanks for the giveaway! I'll have to check out the rest of your site. I have a blog for my three daughters, ages 5,4, and 1, but it's not public. It's really just an account of our daily goings-on for our many family members who live far away. I love to read other people's blogs, though! I have homeschooled my girls for preschool and may "officially" homeschool my second daughter next year, but my oldest daughter is in public school this year. We really felt that this was where the Lord was leading us to have her right now.
Thanks again!

Oh this is perfect since what I am going to tell you about is also something I need at Amazon to accomplish so you may just be helping me with my passion. I am an outdoor type of person and I love to go Geocashing. Which is a new hobby of mine. If you don't know what Geocashing is you can find a post about it on my blog site but in general it is treasure hunting. However in order to go Geocashing you must have a hand held GPS which I do not currently have and due to this I can not go as often as I would like. I have to borrow one from a friend who also loves Geocashing so it is hard to catch him at a time when he isn't using his. I'm trying to save up enough to purchase a GPS hand held on Amazon so I would love this giveaway. Thanks for Sharing and for Caring :)

my current domain name yummies4tummies.com was my first choice, but had to settle for the singular version (yummies4TUMMY.com) 'cause it was already taken. a month later, i checked on a fluke, and it was available! it took me 20 days to get it up & running with a new theme and with the help of a good PHP coder/guru. :-)

Rhonda Martin said...

I received an email telling my first post failed it was rejected by the recipient domain so I'm going to try again I hope this isn't a double post sorry if so. I love to go Geocashing
(which is treasure hunting) this is a new fun hobby I have taken up However I need a hand held GPS system in order to go. I have been borrowing a friends until I can save enough money to buy a hand held GPS from Amazon! I don't get to go as often as I would like to since my friend loves this hobby too and uses his GPS most of the time so it's hard to catch him when he isn't using it himself. So this giveaway is just what I need. I have a post about Geocashing on my blog check it out sometime. The kids love this new hobby so it's a family time as well. Thanks for Sharing :)

Hi Angie! I am a mom of 2 that blogs about our daily happenings and our current struggle of not going crazy while hubby is job searching (he has been laid off since June). My son has autism (I see yours does, too) and my daughter is gifted..such a fun spectrum of experiences! As for your shop, maybe something like Grace Studios or Let Us Pray or For the Love of Him...just a few quick ideas...it is fun to think of ideas! I will probably be thinking of ideas all week and writing them down...lol! I am crazy like that! Thanks for the chance to win this gc...it would be fun to shop online for some stocking stuffers!
